Valve is the master of surprises, may it be through their delayed release dates or their blog updates. They did a great job with the Sniper VS Spy update, but this tops everything: Not only do we have a new rivalry, but even a tragic story. It's about the BLU Soldier and the RED Demoman.

The Announcer, first seen for the first time in a comic released yesterday, tries to separate the two by any means necessary. It is implied in the comic that Saxton Hale, the Australian businessman who supplied the Sniper with good, is about to create some new stuff. In other words: New shiny unlockable weapons for both classes made in Germany Japan Australia. There's some talk about friendship outside of the comic too. Some people have discovered that some new files currently unused in-game has been included to the game data by the last game update. Some of them are sound files with lines like "friendship ends in 30 seconds".

At any rate, this update surely will be interesting in one way or another. Stay tuned.

And remember: Nothing kills a friendship faster than a healthy competition.
