New Maps, Tool and Patch in the Works

Shacknews.com is reporting of new maps and stuff for Team Fortress 2. Many thanks to all the users, who posted their received answers from Valve in the forums.
As many hoped, they are working on new maps and will release them soon (just like the Medic Achievement ;)
Regarding Kerry Davis, Software Engineer at Valve, they can hardly wait to give the users the new maps.
Furthermore, Valve is working on a patch for the XBOX Version of the Orange Box. Kerry Davis posted this and said something about some bugfixing and working on balancing problems.
Another interesting fact: An user posted in the Shacknews-Comments that he asked, which software is used for the "Meet the xxx" videos. No one else than Robin Walker answered this witht the following:

Robin Walker:
"Sorry for the late reply. Glad to hear you're enjoying TF2. We use a mix of XSI, Maya, and an internal proprietary tool to animate the Meet the X shorts. The content we're using is almost all the same content as the game itself. We're planning on releasing the exact system & tools behind the shorts, as an addition to the SDK. I'm not sure when that'll happen, though, sorry.
Robin.[/quote]
So it could be possible that they release their intern tool which they use next to XSP and Maya to record their videos.
