Gabe Newell, the founder of Valve, announced on the "D.I.C.E. Summit" (a multi-day meeting of the executives in the videogame business) that they are planning to release Team Fortress 2 comics in the near future. Those will be created by the team, which made the "Meet the..." videos. This is ought to be the fist step from a "videogame company" to an "entertainment company" for Valve.
So far Valve has neither announced a release date nor given further information about the comic.

Apart from Valve, the community has already released a dozen of Team Fortress 2 comics.
