Valve's recent blog post on the official Team Fortress 2 web page announced the second Saxxy Award.

In contrast to last year's competition, all movies have to be made with the new Source Film Maker instead of the Ingame Replay Editor. If you are are one of those talents with the Source Film Maker, send your idea to Valve in the period from November 1 to November 15. With a bit luck, you may win one of the much sighed-for  Saxxy Awards. 

All sent in videos will be jugded by the community, similar to last year. The voting period for the best video begings on the 16th of November 2012. The winners will be announced by Valve on the 31st December 2012. Plus, the winner of the category "Best Overall" wins a trip to the valve studios and has the chance to collaborate in on of the film projects there!

Though, there are more categories besides "Best Overall". The videos can be send in for:

• Best Action
• Best Drama
• Best Comedy
• Best Original Universe

The videos in the column "Best Original Universe" must only contain material that is certainly only made by yourself. That means as little Valve material as possible.
